Yes, I always take the E train uptown when I am at the Conrad and that is an easy straight two long block walk from the back entrance along Vesey St.

Also, I am sure I have commented on this before, but both the room and the hotel downstairs are very spacious by Manhattan standards (room which are suites are 430 sq ft) which gets a lot of bonus points for someone like me who hates to feel cramped.
