This was cool to see, you can set up an address with them, say
[email protected]
Then they give you up to 500 varriations of that, say
[email protected]
[email protected]
etc.
If I was signing up for something at say newsweek, I could be
[email protected]
Should newsweek sell my name and I start getting a ton of junk mail, I just tell yahoo to delete the address, and use another one, I have 500 choices after all. You can set one up for every form you fill out, and finaly get a handle on where all the junk mail is coming.
I think this is a better alternative then using varriations on a domain name, I can't cancel say
[email protected], that stuff will still get through.
