What I don't get is why T5 cannot display the gate numbers earlier like almost EVERY other international airport so that unfamiliar passengers can take their time finding their gate and getting comfortable waiting for the flight knowing they are in the right place. Ah but of course that doesn't keep them penned in at the shops to spend money, sorry but BAA and BA do not make passengers lives easier, especially after the typically lengthy security queues during transits etc.
Seems to be the UK's attitude to everything now, the "It'll do" attitude rather than can it actually be any good?
