I only have United silver so no club access for me. I don't value it much anyway since I only really need acces to star alliance lounges when traveling to Europe w family and then I only get +1 access.
I've gotten 4-5 close in fees waived this year so far so the benefit is valuable. I'll see if I get a retention offer come renewal time. Last year I got a $100 SC($30k+ spend) and $150 SC the year before ($50k+ spend). By this renewal I'll have $20-25k spend (I've shifted a good chuck of spend to CSR). Hopefully I can score at least $100.
