I received the email but had minimal disruption- I think I was on one of the last flights to leave Heathrow on the Saturday for Helsinki, just 1 1/2 hour delay. My renewal date is 8th of August this year and I will re-qualify for gold. I'm hoping my account doesn't get changed at all until after this time, then I will give BA a call and ask for my two year extension which means I qualify for gold until August 2020. I'm just hoping BA will be as incompetent as usual for me to receive this 2 year benefit. So instead of calling them asking for the extension I think I keep quiet and wait.
