I'm seeking advice from folks experienced in F/C award redemption on Cathay Pacific.

I'm seeking an F award from SE Asia to Australia, and I'm told that CX typically allots only one seat in F/C, combined, for award travel--and that they release inventory very close to departure.

All HKG-SYD flights I'm seeking currently have 0-2 seats sold in F. Does anyone know if/when I can expect CX to release some seats for AA awards?
