Sorry for being such a pain but we are pretty jammed up in this situation.
On my flight to PEK last month, there was an older gentleman sitting next to me in Polaris Business class that only spoke Mandarin. The Mandarin speaking flight attendant was assigned to coach but she came to check on this passenger every hour and also asked for his choice of meal and drinks. Hopefully something like that can happen for your grandmother.
