AC 614 YYZ to YHZ on Jun 11 stank of rotten food. Smell went away a few minutes after engine start returning again at the gate in YHZ. Inside seat pocket had a mystery substance stuck to it with additional items visible beneath the E90 bottom of pocket mesh which may potentially have been the cause. Mentioned to SD.

Someone chose not to consume all the food bought on board?
