Let me just add a couple of points to consider:

1. Irregardless if its a debit or credit card, you will not be charged an additional $200 if its a Visa card.

2. You should have left that debit card in your profile. Now if you want to add it, you may not be able to as within the past few months, the system won't allow you to add a debit card to your profile. I had a debit card there before and I can use it when I want, but when I tried to add a different debit card, the system keeps saying that I could not add a debit card.

3. Even if you are gold, you can always go to the counter and provide a different card, even if it's a debit. I have never been asked to provide an airline ticket when I used my visa debit card.

4. I would not put a return at a different location, as it may be considered a one way rental which may or may not entail a one way or even an "intercity" fee drop off. Just pick up at airport and return there if price is cheaper.
