Claiming Marriott Rewards when room paid directly by Employer?
As mentioned in the thread title, I will be staying at a Courtyard sometime soon and was wondering if it would be possible to collect points/ credit to my MR account/card even though the room is paid for by my employer.
To clarify, my employer's HR/booking team was able to provide me with a booking reservation number and my booking name which I could verify on the Marriott website. I was not involved in processing any credit card numbers nor was I involved in any payment whatsoever of the hotel.
I am not sure if this is sufficient information to conclude on my status, but will be happy to provide more specific info on request. Should I just try during check-in anyway and ask to credit the stay to my Marriott account?
