Flight Eligibility

For a partner flight to credit to AS, the flight must be Marketed and Operated by the partner airline. As per the details, a BA flight will only credit if it falls within the specified flight numbers. The two-letter BA airline code must precede the flight number on your ticket. For example BAxxxx. If the flight is marketed by another airline such as AA and bears a code-share on the ticket it is not eligible for credit to AS but can be credited to AA.Therefore, BA52 from SEA-LHR marketed by BA and operated by BA is eligible for credit to AS while the same flight AA6232 marketed by AA and operated by BA is not eligible for credit to AS. To see Qualifying flight information on the AS website click the "Details" below the "Earnings" to see eligibility. For an Example, I have included the qualifying information for BA flights here.

Qualify for mileage accrual

Flights must fall within the eligible flight number range below, and your flight must be marketed and operated by British Airways.

Eligible flight numbers

0001–0531 2200–2239 8000–8020
0539–1499 2250–2289 8200–8299
2030–2045 2540–2799 8450–8497
2061–2069 2900–2999
2150–2169 6200–6449

To ensure flight credit, the two-letter airline code (BA) must precede the flight number (for example, BA XXXX) on your ticket receipt or boarding pass.

Mileage earned is based on a percentage of actual flight miles flown, with 500 minimum miles on flights shorter than 500 miles. No miles will be earned for classes of service not listed above.
