Hi there,

I'm booked with Air Asia and flying SYD-xKUL-SGN all on the one ticket.
The KUL transit is around 10 hours. Flying with checked luggage.

Now I am hoping not fly to SGN and collect my bags in KUL (and proceed to somewhere else).

Is there a good chance I could ask the check in agent in Sydney to check my bags only to KUL?

Now, to increase the chances of short check luggage, I will not have a Visa to enter Vietnam. Now I ask Air Asia to check me as far as KUL given they can't check me through to SGN without a visa.

Thoughts? Experiences? Thanks for reading.
