Believe it or not, I'm quite pleased to learn this.

As I said, I had hoped there was a legal argument but I wasn't sure there was. It would appear that there is some potential legal course of action for these otherwise incorrectly cancelled tickets. I think this is a good thing.

What remains to be seen is if anyone will successfully challenge the ticket cancellations. Personally I think they should be challenged. But I wonder how many people will actually go to court over a ticket that costs perhaps $2500.

It would be a shame if AC gets away with this.
