Appears on the CI website they are not selling F seats, so should I call and try to get one of the F seats instead? Will that wow my SO vs the UD?

Have you booked coach or business? If you have booked business class and they are seating you on the upper deck then you will have full business class service. The F cabin may or may not be open for use by business class... if it is, I'd probably move there.

If you are holding a coach ticket and seated in the upper deck now, you'll get coach service, and the F cabin won't be available to you.
