Chase Extended Warranty Protection questions / experiences

I couldn't find an existing thread on the Extended Warranty Protection offered on a number of Chase cards, and I just had a positive experience so I will start a thread here.

I had a watch I purchased through Amazon (which replaces manufacturers' warranties with a crappy warranty through Asurion), originally paid for with my Chase Freedom card. I had a number of issues with the watch and had to have it serviced 3 times under the Asurion warranty, each time a 6-8 week wait. (The second two were fixing problems the first repair had introduced.)

A month ago, the watch again stopped working...but I noticed it was out of warranty and thus eligible for the Chase benefit! Sent the watch to a competent repair place of my choice, and they covered the repair bill plus shipping both ways (about $100 total). And they said if the repair estimate exceeded the purchase price, they would cover a replacement purchase instead.

I had to get all of my paperwork together (original receipt, copy of warranty, repair estimate, etc.) but other than that it was super simple. The website for filing a claim for this benefit is http://www.cardbenefitservices.com/ , which is different than the http://eclaimsline.com/ site for Travel Delay, etc.

Super pleased with this benefit and surprised it comes with a free card. I know $100 isn't a lot in the world of watches, but I am definitely more likely to use a card for big purchases if it has this benefit.
