If your own seat is not all the way flat , the footwell does not clear the seat in front. This leaves you with your toes against the seat and no way to turn your feet in any direction to relieve the cramps while trying to sleep. The result is you are camped and the person ahead of you feels every twist and turn of your feet.
The solution is to hit the recline button and hold it down. I'm not sure if it's permissible if the guy in back of you is asleep
Are you saying the footwell moves with the seat? What configuration are you referring to?
