Sat in 5K on the 3 class 777 recently and yes there is a missing window but you can still see out of the window slightly behind your shoulder by turning quite sharply to your left or leaning forward to see out of the window towards your outstretched legs.
I've done daylight and night flights in the seat and the privacy of the window seat coupled with direct aisle access far outweighs a restricted view of clouds, or in the case of OAK-LGW, darkness, for a large part of the flight.
