I find the Malaysia A380 (slightly dated now) and A330 (brand new) product to be absolutely fine and the departure and arrival times convenient for flying over a weekend (to maximise annual leave). The business and first lounges in KL could use some love but that was the only downside. Also earns full BA Tier Points (circa 600 from memory).
Having flown MH earlier his year I'd want a big discount vs. QR J or BA CW to do so again. Not a bad experience, and the price I got was great value, but seats (layout and seat itself) not as good as any OW J I've flown in recent years (BA, AA, CX, AY)
