What happens to checked baggage if left unclaimed until 2-3 hours after the arrival time? Is it moved to the little AA baggage office?

I'll be landing at DFW on a 6am flight later this month with a checked bag (carrying liquids so needs to be checked) and will head to the office at around 9. I was planning on heading to the centurion lounge for some breakfast and maybe a quick nap but not sure what to do with the checked bag.
