I did something dumb. I had it in my head that I had downgraded my MPE to the no-fee card, so I applied for the 70k MPE yesterday. Pending. Realized this morning I still actually have the MPE, it was my SO that downgraded. Should I downgrade immediately and try for recon once I get denied? Any hope of still getting the bonus?

I heard that Chase may cancel the application with no hard pull, citing the fact I already have the card, anyone know if true?
