Why should *A or LH do that? Get a *A Gold the "cheap" way with A3 or TK. Then ask for a status match.

For *A there is no difference, as you would stay *A Gold.

For LH - and even its own SENs - it makes no sense, as you earned it cheaply and would get the same advantages as its own *A Gold (=SEN), who paid more.
In addition it was your choice to credit it on TK Miles&Smile. You would have been free to credit it on Miles&More. I assume you did not, as you were believing that you earn a higher status easier with TK.
