whaaaaat??? grr. I ask Aeroplan agents THREE three! times, and actually got the same answer - NO STATUS MILES.

Why should I not be surprised that the inconsistency in answers from Air Canada and Aeroplan means that you have to increase your sampling size in order to determine a statistically reliable answer.

The Aeroplan program terms also state that the route earns mileage, but NO status miles.
