So unless the situation escalates I guess flights DOH-MLE will continue.
I have flights booked on this route, but not until next year. Fingers crossed it is all resolved quickly and peacefully.

If you all were in my position, would you purchase a refundable flight on Emirates just in case? I think this announcement from the Maldives proves that they don't want to concede tourism revenue, even if it means keeping a relationship with QR.
