I'll keep my lid shut, of course, but I've been watching this thread off and on for the last 18 hours and I'm amazed. So just to Recap: Cheaptickets/Icelandair accidentally(?) post a $0 airfare from BWI/JFK- KEF for late June/ early July at 4pm EST Monday. All hell breaks loose, and while Reykyavik & Cheaptickets management sleeps, over 60 FT'ers book a gratis holiday. At 10:30 am EST Tuesday, after what must have been a long morning for Cheaptickets techs,
the "Glitch" is fixed. Hundreds of other FT'ers too slow off the mark begin a day long cry-in.
Nottosmart is hailed as a hero (and he does deserve it..)
Does that about cover it?
