For a few years now I have used a semi-transparent quart-size bag with a zipper. Much tougher than a ziplock. It's been pulled out a couple of times when they were hunting for something on the x-ray (I normally have some Lite Salt, these days it generally gets dug out, the last time it even got run through their sniffer), nobody has ever objected.
