The center tank space is always there. The problem is if CX is willing to use it or not. If so, some modifications will have to be made.
As far as I know Airbus does not offer a package to increase MTOW on older models. 242T is for new builds and CX won't be taking any more A333s.
The centre tank space may be there but the plumbing is not nor cockpit controls. They will not add it, so in short CX's A330s cannot make the trip.
