MUC-EWR June 3 Polaris.
> Menus distributed, but they were incorrect. Purser took food orders with no eye contact and just handed the correct menu and waited until you made your choice. He took 2nd choice backups for non-1k/GS.
> PDB I said "no chocolate please" and the FA said "we don't have any loaded anyway lol". Like that. She was pretty young. This same FA was eating in full view of the cabin later in the flight and came out to attend a passenger, still chewing whatever it was. Kinda odd. It seemed like she didn't want to be at work that day.
> Main of chicken was dry and average quality.
> I asked for a hot snack 150 mins before landing; "no...we're not serving that." No apology, and it felt like I was begging for food haha.
Mediocre experience. The Saks amenity kit looks good, but the other navy one that opens and shows all the compartments for Sleep, Relax, etc was better presentation-wise.
I took IB flights MUC-MAD return last week and the food/drinks/service for those 2 hour flights were miles ahead. One IB FA barely spoke English but he was genuinely interested that I was comfortable and had what I needed. It was really good service.
Two other minor things: Taken 3-4 Polaris flights recently...must we have seafood appetizers for all of them? And has UA realized that no one is probably going to want a Quinoa salad with Chicken when the side salad is quinoa / kale / something pretty similar?

+1.
