Hi all,

I was supposed to fly from LIM to JFK as a part of my CUZ > LIM > JFK EWR>ORD trip. I booked my flights in J using AA miles.

My LIM>JFK flight left on time but then due to technical reason has to be diverted back to Lima. Everyone is flying out again tomorrow at noon, but we won't get to JFK till after 8, which is too late for a connecting flight back to Chicago.

What should I do? What are my rights? Can I propose an alternative route on AA and have them accommodate it? There's a flight to Miami in this morning on AA.
