i have been observing airasia SEA routes and it looks like buying on advance purchase promos is not worth it.


comparing prices for six months advance purchase to two weeks advance purchase shows prices are the same, probably due to availability or just their strategy.


contrast to 5J where they consistently increase prices as departure date draws near.

airasia is now my go to for spur of the moment trips.
