This seems to be at odds with everything else which has been posted on here. Even for many of those who prefer not to fly BA it seems BAEC is one of the more favoured OW schemes.
I am reliably informed that this is indeed the case as is a reduction in accumulation of credit from elite members on BA rather than other OW partners. To be fair I don't know specifically about GGL but Gold and Silver are definitely impacted so it would be a fair assumption that GGL was too.

If true (and I think it is) then that is not a good message to be giving at the same time as saying that cuts have not gone too far.
