You don't say much here, but to me the issue is about schedule change and AC's willingness to accommodate you. Not about taxes.

If indeed te schedule change means the new itinerary does not work for you, they show let you change. Give a good look at the tariffs.

Of course having a TA in the loop may make matters more complicated. If you can deal directly with AC that might be preferable than having the TA going through motions and tell you AC won't let you change.

I get the feeling AC is actually getting quite heavy-handed/bullyish on some of these issues. I have had a somewhat similar problem; if I go nowhere with Customer Solutions, I might actually file a claim with the CTA.

But we might also be dealing with some vindictive middle manager making policies of his own, so who knows. Look at the tariffs.
