Thank you for the input. I am definitely not after the big 5. Being in the wild and having the experience is much more important, so Tswalu is definitely in my bucket list for a longer trip, perhaps combining it with Namibia.

For now I have 3 nights with the wife leaving our kid at home, so Boulders or Ebony seems like the sensible choice.

I am dying to try Botswana, Zambia and gorilla trekking but need another 3-4 years so our kid can be a bit older to stay at home.
