Two long Questions...
Question 1:
We arrive into Guangzhou (from Brisbane) at 0015 on the 7th.
I want to pay for a driver for a day, to make it to Macau on the 8th.
If driving across the border isn't valid, I can book a ticketed seat on the train to Zhuhai Railway Station to walk across the border.
Do either of these options satisfy the requirement for the TWOV?
FWIW I will have hotel bookings in Macau for the 8th and 9th.
I will have a ticketed seat on the ferry from Macau to Hong Kong on the 10th.
Will this be acceptable for the TWOV?
It'll be a bit strange, as both points are seperate regions to China.
FWIW I will have hotel bookings in Hong Kong for the 10th and 11th.
Question 2:
We arrive into Shanghai (from Hong Kong) on the 12th.
We depart Shanghai for Brisbane on the 16th.
Can I receive another 144 hour TWOV?
Should be no other issue with this, as we fly into and out of Shanghai, it is more of a standard transit
Question 1 - negative. Requires a
flight in and out. You wouldn't make it past check-in in BNE without the flight out.
HKG is not part of the TWOV regime. Doesn't matter how you get there, standard entry requirements apply.
Question 2 - fine for TWOV.
If you take a flight out of CAN (multi-stop if within 24 hours, or non-stop within 72 hours) you would qualify for TWOV both times (there is no time limit or other restriction on the number of TWOV entries).
