Hi,

Ok so its my turn to ask for itinerary help as I've read a lot of what the others have posted

This will be in late July and for 6 nights, 7 days, but the last day is mostly dedicated to traveling. I have some questions and some things I'm not entirely sure where to go, we are pescatarian also so we need to make sure not to eat meat

Day 1 - Arrive HND at ~1:30pm
- Exchange JR Pass at airport
- Buy Suica card - Should each person have 1 suica card or would a couple typically share a card?
- Take JR Yamanote Line from Hamamatsucho Station to Tokyo Station
- ~2:30pm - Check in at Shangri-la, Tokyo

- ~4pm - Go to Ueno Park, stroll around, see the place

- 7pm - Have dinner somewhere or back at Hotel

Day 2
- Tokyo Imperial Palace Gardens
- Asakusa
- No idea what to do, I'm thinking maybe just turn this into a Nikko day tour?

- Tokyo Skytree at night (Weekday)

Day 3 - Akihabara!
- Studio Ghibli Museum via JR Chuo Line to Kichijoji or Mitaka Station, then take Bus to Ghibli Musuem
- Akihabara Station via JR Chuo and Chuo-Sobu Line
- Cure, Kotobukiya, Animate and whatever else

Day 4 - Hakone
- Send Suitcase to Hiiragiya Kyoto
- Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen to Odawara
- Buy tickets for loop
- Do Hakone Loop
- Back to Tokyo

Day 5 - Kyoto
- Checkout of hotel early
- Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Kyoto Station, arrive at ~11am

Kyoto Itinerary:
- Fushimi Inari via Nara Line to Fushimi Inari Station
- Kiyomizu-dera
- Ginkaku-ji
- Nijo Castle
- Arashiyama
Can we fit all of this in or is there some order to doing all of this?

- Check in at Hiiragiya Ryokan, the bags would have arrived already right?

Day 6 - Nara
- Checkout of Hiiragiya, have bags send to Hyatt or HND already?
- Nara Line from Kyoto Station
- Feed Deer
- What else can we do around Nara?

- Back to Kyoto Station
- Check in at Hyatt

Day 7 - Go home
- Checkout at 9am, take Tokaido Shinkansen back to Tokyo Station
- JR Line to Hamamatsucho
- Tokyo Monorail to HND
- Arrive at HND at 1pm - I hope the bags are here?
- Leave HND at 3pm


So I'm not sure if all this is possible, looking for suggestions/recommendations. I have one day in Tokyo where I dont know what to do, either Nikko or do something else. Also the day trip to Nara, not sure what to fill that up with aside from Deer
