I filed two claims - one for a taxi journey (I never made it past my home town, so claimed for the taxi ride back after the flight was cancelled) and also put in a claim for EU261 for €600. Both confirmed as being accepted - BA indicates payment in 3-5 working days. Nice to see they're not auto-declining these and have accepted responsibility!

Is there a standard letter for this and can I provide my own bank details as I was travelling for work so I didn't pay for the flights and I wouldn't want any compensation to go to the company card (which I think is fair as I was the one inconvenienced rather than work)
Interesting that this reply talks about journey rather than flight (for context - my journey was SEA - EDI via LHR but it was only LHR - EDI that was delayed)
