Also the Middle Eastern and Asian airlines are serving the regions now, so with reasonable prices you can travel Eastbound in a quality long haul business class product the entire way, whereas BA via Heathrow would result in no tangible premium experience until reaching the lounges at T5 after a disappointing domestic segment.
