Asiana agent booked my itinerary wrong
Hi everyone,
I was just wondering in this case if there's any way to leverage my situation.
Basically I had a business itinerary reservation booked, which I was going to pay at the airport. I couldn't make it to the airport by the deadline, so I called Asiana to rebook me the SAME reservation. When I was going to pay today I checked my reservation and realized the agent booked me economy instead of business class tickets.
Basically I couldn't get business class tickets for my return flight right now because it's full. I am pretty pissed because it's the agent's error. I have Asiana Gold status and I am about 3 short round trips away from getting the Diamond status. I fly every week so that only take me less than a month.
In this case would they bump off business class passengers who have lower status than me? Has this happened before? It's a small plane and I don't want to change to other times. Asiana said they would call me back but I have been waiting for a few hours and still no response. I just want to know is it possible for them to bump other people?
