amen, pdxalaska...
have wanted to see more customers in the PDX/SAL/EUG/GEG area, but it seems that the game is:

Fly there & back the same day, price = the same as fly down Tues, stay over in a hotel, fly back Wed. Until this silly little game changes, I'll get up early & drive down. I had no idea that the hotels & airlines were in cahoots.
