Could not find a definite answer for that one... I'm OWE - if I book for two people on same PNR (me and OH) in Y could I preselect seats for free at the time of booking for the both of us (including exit row seats)? If booked it will be done directly on CX website and on Q fare bucket (two long haul legs).
You may select seats upon booking but the exit row may not be released to you at that time.
Once the booking is confirmed, you should be able to use your booking number to access the seating plan again with a wider selection of seats available.
