As an Australian, I can happily say that I haven't even seen any aircraft spraying on flights into Australia for at least the last 10 years.

Typically they apply a spray every month or two similar to when you have pest control through your house.

The only flight in the last couple of years that has been sprayed was a HKG-CDG flight on Cathay Pacific.
