Unlike NWA.com, CO.com does not sell KL coded flights (only CO codeshares on KL).
Continental allows you to book a trip like EWR - TLV - LHR - EWR with the TLV - LHR leg on another carrier (BA / LY). The problem is that CO.com sells only CO coded flights so this itin cannot be booked online. You might be able to do the trick
eyal suggested - book an initial trip online, save it and call to change. The K/H fares allow 1 stopover in Europe. You can say you have noticed that on the fare and would like to know how you can use it.
