Rejected China Visa -- "ID too wide"
My 10-year tourist visa application was just rejected because "the ID was too wide." I had a reputable agent helping with my application (at the Houston Embassy), but now it looks like my trip might be a no-go (timing is really tight). A couple of questions:

  • Has anyone ever heard of an application being rejected for this reason? My picture was exactly 48x33mm and conformied to all other regulationsa
  • Does anyone have advice on getting some kind of refund on the flight if I can't go? I'm flying coach on Delta and I'm about a week out...
