BA codeshare AY operated: seat selection?
I have a LHR-HEL-LHR in J, BA ticket & flight number but AY operated (A350), and seems there is no chance to select seats online by myself.
- BA MMB tells me it's not possible and to contact my local British airways office
- AY MMB tells me that it's not a AY operated flight , so not possible.
- Tried RJ MMB too: I was apparently able to choose seats but it seems to have no real effect, and seats number are not shown after exiting seat selection.

Do I really have to call? And BA or AY?
