As I have said... 20,000 for HGI-SIN, I would rather pay SGD 300 in cash than spend ~USD 200 worth of points for a redemption. To put it another way, SGD 300 could get me a night in Conrad or Hilton (Singapore).

I would value 20k HH at ~$100 USD, not $200 USD. It would be really tough to get 1 cpp on a redemption without something like "the Super Bowl is this weekend" these days.
