I use the AT&T worldwide 800 access numbers (AT&T Direct). There was a post about this a while ago - check out http://www.business.att.com/bt/access.jsp?c=a i believe. usually in most countries it's 0800-CALL-ATT or similar. then at the prompt, dial the usual 800 AA number and it routes you for free.
