I would agree and if the questions are of a personal nature I would be reluctant to answer, even if I know the person works for TSA. I simply don't believe that TSA employees are trustworthy and no one else needs to know what I am doing, where I am going, or how I am enjoying the day.
I am probably a bit more guarded in this type of thing but people in my industry have been kidnapped in attempts to gain access to company resources.
My response would be to advise that I am not going to respond to any of their questions and feel free to follow me throughout the terminal, even into the restroom if you wish, but you're wasting your time and perhaps missing a real terrorist.
