I was fortunate in getting to MCO on Friday, but 9 family members had flights to MCO cancelled on Saturday. Fortunately I was able to get them re-booked on Virgin to MIA,, the next day, at about double the cost.

I'll probably call BA when I get home but does anyone have any idea whether the additional costs will be covered?

It's probably easier to fly back to LGW with BA, so only one leg would be cancelled.
