Apologies if this has been answered before but how does it work if you suffer two delays/cancellations during your journey? My flight was cancelled and I was rebooked onto a later flight leaving about 4 hours later. That flight ended up being 5 hours delayed. Should I claim compensation for each event or is it just one claim?
In theory that is two claims. I suspect BA will not willingly pay the second, taking it as being one extended delay, but the wording in the Regulation supports two claims. I would apply for both, assuming both aren't covered by extraordinary circumstances.
