Emirates worked because they serve many of the destinations we go to (and those they do - Lilongwe and Gaberone can only be done with three flights from Manchester which ever way you go) but I might look at other options.

I went to Las Vegas for a conference in January and was very impressed with Delta. I think other airlines have upped their game and Emirates are sliding.
