I've flown 53E twice and enjoyed both times. As long as you don't mind looking at two strangers for a brief period during take off and landing, the seat is very private and cosy with the dividers up, a bit more space at the side of the seat, and very easy direct access to both aisles, plus close to the kitchen if you feel like a snack mid-flight. I didn't get disturbed by any galley noise in that seat either on my flights. I would choose 53E again.
